- Edited 5 years agoIrregardless of this being released on a faith based label the music is superb and the musicianship from both Keaggy and his supporting musicians is both heartfelt and articulate. The opening track carries a more fusion/prog sort of energy but that soon subsides and what your left with is a time capsule very much in the landscape of mid 1980s Windham Hill era new age guitar instrumentals. Yes theres some piano but its not David Lanz and Phil's acoustic guitar is always there to provide melodic support and carry the music beyond any tedious doldrums. The recording is crisp and sounds good even in 2015. This is really great listening music to relax to in the evenings. Wish he would have released more ensemble music like this but then again I am semi new to his catalog one which I plan to explore further. +1 great disc!
