Apart from the clicks and surface noise many other described (also after cleaning), my side A sounds very bad bass wise (rumbling/scratching) particularly at the beginning of Free. Other than that okayish, but the music would be worth of so much more detail and depth.
In terms of surface noise, Side 1 is the worst for me, with "Back In Town" being the most crackly. Sides 2 and 3 are much better, though. In terms of dynamics, this album sounds really good, but the surface noise can be overwhelming in spots. Unfortunately, the spindle holes of this record are some of the tightest that I've ever had the misfortune of having to deal with. Regardless, this release isn't too bad, and the brown color is quite nice.
My copy has a lot of static, I still hear it after a wet clean on both discs. Both of them are slightly heavy, definitely not 140 grams. My side C is more loud than it should, which a little annoying. But the first disc sound fantastic !!!
My copy sounds great. Came packaged very well, no visible damage at all. The record itself is a nice brown color, with beautiful etching on side D. It may not be as sonically impressive as Ceremonials or Lungs, but, sounds very good compared to a lot of new LPs.
My copy is disappointingly loud, with static on all playing sides. I will try putting it through my ultrasonic cleaner this weekend, but this sounds like a pressing issue. Shipping was also quite bad; one corner of the jacket arrived totally bent and there are split seams on both inner sleeves, which caused the cardboard residue to get deep into the grooves on two sides of my discs.
