There's a couple things that I believe aren't available elsewhere. I may need to go back to the Seeds deluxe versions but I don't think this demo of "The Wind Blows Your Hair" is on anything else. It's also nice to get an early version of The Leaves "Too Many People" by Big Jim (Pons) and the Lords. Overall, it's a really nice collection. Probably due to clearances, it could use a few more popular acts to round out the whole LA sound. Or it could be narrowed to about two discs of harder to find garage style recordings. Either way, it's pretty awesome. The mastering is great (not too loud or compressed). The booklet is informative. I think it's just as good as any Rhino Nuggets series.

the music sums up what was SoCal in that pivotal time. Really worth the time to listen.
