“Birthdays was the worst days, now we sip Champagne when we thirsty”

They say a picture speaks a thousand words. Well, sometimes a few words paint a whole story. “Juicy” being my case in point, packed to the rim with vivid scenery.

Biggies rhymes are nothing short of incredible and the music’s longevity now popular among multiple generations can’t be debated.

The cynical might point out that the Mtume sample was designed to reach the wider mainstream audience, but it’s impossible not to dig this groove no matter how much you keep it “real”.

This is not a song, it’s an anthem! Not just if you’re from Brooklyn, but for anyone who identifies with the underdog.
