Prod (3) – Contents One

Of all the M Squared releases I own this is a stand out favourite. 3 highly original and evocative instrumental tracks and 1 slightly unusual offering that sounds like sawing... Prod were a duo featuring Michael Prowse on drums & Craig Robertson on bass and guitar. They never performed live, but they became an integral part of the M Squared scene with connections to Scattered Order & Splendid Mess. It's definitely worth hunting down - all 4 tracks including one bonus unreleased track are included on the Terrace Industry: M Squared Box, 1980 - 83 (4 CD box set, Ascension Records, 2010)
