Reviews
- I bought this on the spur of the moment from Urban Outfitters, whilst waiting for my wife to complete a clothes purchase. The recording sounds fine, but the disc is noisy in that way that picture discs usually are (mainly a continuous background swooshing on this one). Having said that, it is a nicely presented item, with the heavyweight inner sleeve and vintage poster and makes an attractive looking addition to my collection - I have it sandwiched between the black vinyl copies that I use for critical hi-fi listening 😁
- yeah its fine, my first picture disc and i got it for christmas, popped no more than some of the vinyl i already had so it's whatever
usually the popping went away quickly and then there was no noise otherwise - Edited 2 years agoMy copy sounds surprisingly great for a picture disc. Some quiet pops and crackling on B1/B2, but other than that it’s impressively silent. I don’t hear any of the typical whooshing background noise either that occurs so often with such formats. It probably won’t be your best sounding Ziggy pressing in your collection, but it’s one of the few picture discs that I’d say is actually fit for listening, too.
- My copy is great: heavy flat picture vinyl with a great sound. It looks fantastic and it's put in a sturdy sleeve together with a text sheet and a poster.
- My copy is rubbish. I'll return it immediately. There is some strange background noise almost throughout the entire record. Never had this problem before.
