Skanna – All You Wanted

Anyone got a clue whats the voice sample on "All You Wanted" ? Sounds so familiar.

I've got pretty much all the skanna stuff had it from the beginning ! But all you wanted is so good I think its my favourite skanna track ..

Just got this finally....First heard All You Wanted in 94 on the Jungle Tekno compilation and always annoyed I never sought it out at the time. Well worth the wait if a little pricey now but thought I would treat myself as they are only going up.
Pure Skanna genius on one side with the Criminal Minds remix upping the energy levels on the other side. Its amazing these tunes never featured much if at all in the DJ sets of the time. Their loss I guess!
With Skanna its more than just a tune - something to treasure forever.

I totally regret selling this tune 3 years ago! ChrisbeeXL you got the deal! Had to snap up a copy while I could as Skanna seems to be getting priced further and further into the stratosphere. It's weird I originally got the tune as a bonus after thought when getting a shipment of tunes from the UK around 96-97. Honestly back then Skanna tunes were not really sought after.

The dubby bassline of 'All I Wanted' drives the boat with a beautiful atmospheric breakdown (I wonder where the vocal is from?) and perfect additions of new percussion as the track progresses creates layer after layer. It's such a great building track and for my money one of the best Skanna tunes ever. The Criminal Minds remix of the 'Greatest Thing' is no slouch either. While it's hard to top the original the energetic beats really make the minute long soulful breakdown in the middle well worth the wait. I'm happy to report this record will never ever be sold again. I'm holding on to these this time around.
