Reviews
- Pressing sounds great. The biggest issue for me is the removal of some of the song transitions. A fade out from Dirty Harry and just a hard open on Feel Good Inc just feels wrong.
- Sounds incredible. Really surprisingly dynamic, couple clicks on my D side but everything else is good. You’ll see poor reviews for this on the Target website because people buying this record are playing it on a briefcase player they also bought from Target. Get a solid setup and this pressing will sound excellent.
- Is everyone’s copy purple? This is the only entry that matches the matrix on my record, and I also got it at target in May 2022, but it’s black, not purple.
- Is anyone else hearing distortion on the last track on side D? The vocals near the end have some fuzziness on my end.
- I truly cannot believe how little noise this pressing has. It’s is dead silent, music sounds amazing. A true 10/10 from me.
- Kind of crazy that Target pressed the best sounding LP in my collection. This pressing is fuuuullll. Big loud crisp heavy sound coming from these grooves. They did it right
- Edited 2 years agoYeah this sounds incredibly fantastic, maybe even better than my old black pressing. AMAZING bass. Unfortunately, there's skipping on Side D during Dare and Fire Coming Out of the Monkey's Head. Kind of upsetting, but thankfully it isn't TOO noticable
06/08/2023 EDIT: After getting a new, more high-end turntable, I haven't encountered the skipping issues since. As such, this now gets a full five stars - Both discs arrived warped as hell... still could be the perfect sleeve for the fantastic picture disc release!
