There is a version of Sosei which to my knowledge has never been released, only on 2 CD mix albums from Judge Jules, Trance Nation Electric and Judgement Sundays 2004, as Airscape Sosei, although the Johan Gielen Remix sounds very similar it is not the same track. Johan Gielen played the version I would like at Sensation White 2003 and this can be watched on YouTube. This is the first version of Sosei. But to my knowledge Johan has not played it again and only Ferry Corsten has and Judge Jules in the summer of 2003. This first original version was quickly changed and never released. Will it ever be released? Back then I was 16 years old when Judge Jules first played the vinyl version never released on his Saturday evening Radio 1 show.

I think this is an awful track myself, and definately one of the worst melodies I've ever heard in my life! The chords clash and the riffs are completely painful to listen to. It's even worse than Svenson & Gielen's track "Twisted". This is not uplifting or epic trance. It's more like acid techno. Extremely disapointing experimental release.

According to my Japanese dictionary, "Sosei" is half of the word sosei-suru, which means revive. While this song does indeed get the floor moving, it ironically feels very much like the same ol' same ol'. If you're not tired of hands in the air epic trance anthems you'll like this offering, but that's really the only level this song works on. I personally don't spin it often.

A fresh and different Airscape sound.

Sosei contains typical Airscape sounds, but isn't as trancy as it's previous releases.
Though the break is very ID&T styled trance, the sound changes after the break and offers a harder trance style, with some hardstyle samples.

Very nice record to give your set a more surprising effect.
