I compared an OG with this reissue. What a difference. Especially the drums sound of the reissue is muffeld and can‘t breath. The OG has space and the drums sound clear and vibrate. It makes so much more fun to listen to the album I was surprised. In my opinion the mastering is really bad compared to the OG.

Bootleg quality reissue really. Don't pay more than £10 per copy.

This isn't a bad reissue for the price. The white vinyl has a pleasantly low noise floor with a few minor pressing artefacts, but generally plays faithful. The wax came flat out of the box. Whoever cut the lacquer clearly did a fine job. The master isn't anything to write home about, but ultimately this is a cost-efficient reissue of a Krautrock masterpiece that most folks should find worth the $20 or so – especially given the steep cost of an original pressing.

This album is amazing, and this pressing is great too. The worst part about it is that it's sourced digitally, but we all paid $23, so not a complaint of mine. The inner gat print isn't noticeably bad (I went back and looked at mine when I saw other reviews, not disappointed) The pause in track 2 is just a part of the song that I have grown very fond of, because we don't love Neu for being perfect and flawless, we love them because they're quirky and weird. Buy this press unless you can afford the original. Buy the CD if you don't like digitally sourced vinyl.

Seems like Optimal and GZ are in a death match for the title of shittiest cutting and pressing plant of all of Europe. Cut from digital files as you can hear when the tracks are played gap-less, segments of distortion due to over-modulation, noisy pressing, and finally totally garbage repro work. Un-fucking-believable.

Wonderful record and sounds incredibly clear as if you're sat in the studio with the band.

Listening through headphones with absolutely no surface noise at all, but a vibrant bright sound, No complaints about the pressing.

Agree with the others that this is a low-quality repress filled with surface noise and pops despite a clean...

Have to agree with negative comments here. My copy which was fresh in seal is very noisy. Even after a thorough wet wash it sounded like a 30 year old album out my local charity shop bargain bin. Atrocious pressing and white vinyl doesnt help. Re digital, noise aside, I think my original CD sounds at least as good as this.
