I put Money on from this pressing and it was an out of body experience when Gilmour hits the guitar solo. I don't think I've heard anything so explosive out of my speakers.

2016 sounds anemic compared to Pro-Use Money for my money.

I have 2 vinyl pressings of this lp. The Pro Use that I found recently at a garage sale in my dad's retirement community for $15 (Alan Parsons I Robot Japan was included), and a 74' Japanese pressing I bought at a high end stereo shop in 80/81' for around $17. I was just a 17 year old kid buying these expensive pressings! By 85' I had at least 25 - Zeppelin, Genesis, Police, New Order, Cure , etc... The best pressings hands down.

Can anyone measure the exact length of the black-and-white four-page insert (in cm and/or inches)?

Amazing pressing! Have had since 89. First time hearing today since then. Hard to imagine this album sounding much better. Wow!

I think this is the best of the so called “audiophile” pressings.

I currently have two of these (one of which I'm selling as I've upgraded) and one thing I've noticed--and never seen mentioned anywhere else--is that the spines are slightly different: on one copy the "stereo" is in red, as is the circular dot at the bottom; on the other copy, the "stereo" and dot are in white. Does this, ahem, "mean" anything, in terms of pressings, or is it simply a cosmetic difference?

This is a fantastic pressing, especially if you are coming off digital and CDs.

For me, having the two really hot spots fixed on the 2016, and some things rebalanced in the mix, it has knocked my Pro-Use 4th pressing off the mountaintop, so this is my second place pressing now. Still fantastic and has its own charms.

This pressing and mastering is incredible. I've never heard the vocals so clearly and the instruments so separated. I'm hearing things in the mix I haven't heard before. It does get a little hot when Gilmour hits those high notes on his guitar solos, but it's not a deal breaker by any means. Seek this out and buy it if this is your favourite album. You won't regret it. Oh yeah - it's DEAD quiet too.
