The 2xLP was delivered by courier to my home in Paris (I hadn't been told about this)
Copy number is handwritten 154/200
The “etchings” identifiers correspond to the description.- 700 copies sounds like quite a lot for this. Yet only 75 people here are claiming to own one (and some of those people probably don't). So where are they all?
- Edited 2 years agoThere are 2 different white label promos for Homework 2xLP.
At first 2 limited rounds has been issued ( some say 50 of each complete 2xLP, some say less... I don't know ). The A/B record was identical for both. One version had the definitive C/D record in it and has been issued in hundreds more copies for global promo after that. But an alternative C/D record was to be found in the other version. On top of my head this very rare C/D record had a track from Indo Silver Club EP in place of another track on it. Sample clearing was an issue for this track ( was it a timing issue or a definitive absence of legal agreement, I don't know ).
So several hundreds 2xLP white labels have the definitive Homework tracklist on them while a very limited run of white labels have an alternative C/D record that showcases exactly what the band planned to be on their first album outside of legal considerations . - Where can you see VISA MPO 8148? Want to authenticate via picture.
How many of these were ACTUALLY pressed. A press sheet says only 50 were pressed, then on the sheet it says 700 for the UK, but my copy also says 156/200 lining up with the "only 200 pressed" statement of the notes.

I have the 1st press edition album 1997 (embossed sleeve) but the matrix has VISA 8148 scratched and the other number... is it he same on all the first pressings or a mistake ?- Mine has the number 106 written underneath the Daft Punk logo on the A and C side
