The packaging leaves something to be desired. After having to wait so long for this release on vinyl, I expected a little more than just a printed inner sleeve. That said, it's a perfectly fine packaging.

The sound itself isn't stellar, though it isn't bad by any means either. The sound is all there, it sounds rather full and has a nice 'thump' where needed. There are two things that I'm not very impressed with though.

    1. As mentioned before: There is zero soundstage. While all instruments and vocals are completely separable, you don't get that sense of "watching" a band preform

    2. The sound is a bit dull. This album is fun, sexy, warm and playful. The sound is sufficient and allows me to listen to this album on wax, but it's not very engaging. The digital version sounds nicer IMO.

    All in all, 3 stars.

EDIT: I should mention I cleaned the record with an Okki Nokki record cleaner.

Don't you include "Love’s Train"? So... I don't buy it!

Not a long album, but there is absolutely no filler in here. True solid piece from the beginning to the end. Just okay packaging for the record, but it worth the long wait for the vinyl anyway.
Like BRV said the sound stage on the mix is not impressive, but the separation is clear as can be on such harmonically rich music and the vinyl master really does justice to it.

I agree with all the comments. Its a great album and a cracking pressing BUT.....
wheres the sound stage ? its not far off Mono IMO

My copy says it was manufactured in Argentina and I received it from Amazon, so either it's not exclusively a European release for this barcode and catalog number, or there's another version floating around.

Thankful to say I can add to all the praise of this pressing. It sounds great. Surface noise is reasonably low, clicks and pops are slightly more than I would like but it's not enough to be an issue and the quality of the sound more than makes up for it.

Sounds fantastic. The disc was worth the wait. However, be prepared to clean it right out of the package. Like, a lot. Would definitely recommend replacing the inner sleeve if you care about The things you purchase. Seriously wack packaging with the inner sleeve. Again, the disc sounds friggin’ awesome!

Beautiful sounding album, production is on point and the pressing is superb. Clean, flat and no noise. The vibe of this LP makes it an essential on vinyl. Would have preferred a gatefold but just a minor quibble.

Rather unimpressive packaging for such a huge project. Simple flimsy sleeve, no inserts. The vinyl itself is flawless though. Sounds incredible.

Very dirty from factory. Sounds great after a good cleaning.
