Reviews
- Wow reviews are all over the place with this one! Not sure if it’s people’s systems, cleaning regimen, lack thereof, or what, but mine sounds absolutely fantastic!!! Full-spectrum high-end, holographic midrange that makes you feel live in the studio with the band and devastating low end. At least through my system: Starling, X8, TubeBox DS3 w/lps, Line1, 2x Aegir, DWX Supreme, 3000 Micro. If someone who prefers the European pressing could actually explain why, that would be awesome…
- This is just masterpiece album by DOOM and MADLIB! Just bought it few days ago the US press and the sound is great!
One of the best to ever did it! RIP DOOM - Just got this US OG, it's a very enjoyable press. Don't have the UK OG or a re-issue to compare it against, but this has great soundstage and definition, and can't fault the bass, mids or highs. Would be curious to know why people are saying the UK is a stronger press. Ignore the posts from people with a re-issue saying this doesn't sound good.
- Edited 3 years agoFinally got one of these in my collection. Sounds fantastic. No pops, no noise, nothing. Probably the best sounding record in my collection. RIP DOOM.
- Played this for the 1st time in about a year and I love how it sounds. would love to hear a RE, but mine sounds gritty and I fucking Love it!! RIP MF DOOM
- The OG European pressing from 2004 slays the US version on sound quality. That’s the version you need...
- RIP DOOM. I have a first pressing confirmed by these runouts and it sounds fucking awesome. The OG pressing is legit, can’t say anything about the represses tho
