Reviews
- Look, its a very good edition but not perfect as everybody is praising on the comments. The pressing is indeed perfect with no noise, crackles, pops or noise floor, the mastering is very good but not perfect, there are sibilance on the "S" words because this is as 47 minute album in a single records.Iner tracks suffer with a little distortion and maybe the volume is too loud and agressive.Pressed too hot maybe.Even with this observations its a very good edition of an amazing album.
- Agreed with all the previous reviews, this is an excellent and silent remaster/pressing that exceeded my expectations!
- After having this album just sitting in the shelf for a year already, I kinda regret not giving it a proper spin. Being a huge fan of Regina's music, this debut album is a must have. The pressing, as what other says from the comment below, is phenomenal. There's a lot of quiet parts and not even a single cracks on my copy.
- Edited 2 years agoThis pressing is shockingly good… dead silent and extremely dynamic. It’s incredible hearing these songs in such a top quality remaster after only knowing them by way of downloaded low quality mp3 files from Limewire in like 2005.
This album really needed a pressing that was carefully and competently done because, as another commenter mentioned, this music is pretty sparsely-arranged and has many moments of silence or quiet. So I'm thrilled that’s the case. A+ - I cancelled my Papa's Bootlegs order when I saw this was getting its own pressing and i do not regret it. I was really nervous about the 'cheaper' copy since this is such a quiet and intricate album with a crazy vocal range and is almost all vocals and sometimes piano and the tiniest bit of percussion. Its handled really well and there is very minimal surface noise. The disc comes in a poly lined paper sleeve but still came out wicked dusty so clean it well. But so VERY worth the $20 I paid.
- Wow, this pressing sounds really good! I’ve never heard these songs sound so clear. No surface noise at all- I’m really glad I purchased this one.
