For the amount of money they are asking for this, you could buy a half decent CD player then pick up the the cd for $3.99. It will eventually be repressed and if not at least you have a great CD player and cd.

Just know that when you come to my house, I will have placemats with the cover on it and we will all laugh because YOU don’t have it on vinyl.

    Not that it really matters.

I bought this just before the pandemic for around $33, and now people are selling them for nearly $300? lol embarrassing. Anyway, I came to this page initially to post about how GREAT this sounds. I'd been buying tons of records from 2017-2019 and most of them are still sealed as I tend to buy quicker than I listen, so this morning was actually my first time listening to this particular record (the performance itself I'm very familiar with, being a 90's child and a Seattle resident) but this is my first time hearing it on vinyl and I am so glad I picked this up. MOV usually has excellent quality so that's not surprising but this one is just stupid good. Sounds like the band is sitting in my living room performing.

With that said, MOV does tend to reissue their releases from time to time so I suggest waiting for that to happen as opposed to paying these prices. I kinda hate how vinyl's customer base has slowly transformed from something you actually listen to and enjoy to modern day hipster baseball cards that you are supposed to keep sealed and never use so that you can maximize resale value because you never wanted it in the first place. I suppose the devil's advocate argument is that part of the reason vinyl sales are breaking records again is specifically because of this new 'collector/flipper' mentality, but I still find it depressingly cringe.

This record is everything you need to go back to that 90’s feel. MTV Unplugged really delivered some classics and while the Nirvana session might received the most airplay, for me this record is the ultimate live gem of the grunge era. The perfect MOV pressing makes you feel like you are sitting right there in the audience. It’s just a must have for every fan. I got this one for €25 back in 2018. Not surprised to see value has skyrocketed since it’s out of print.

Saw this at Zia on the wall for $199.99 and it's already gone. Someone wasted zero time . I own this yes. It is absolutely exquisite in quality. The records are. The jacket is kinda not much. I can tell you this too, playing it on a conical stylus is excellent. An Elliptical stylus will put you in the first row in front of Layne so much that you can almost smell the cigarettes on his clothes. This is audiophile stuff at a very very high level folks.

Enough with the outrageous prices! This is a great mastering but not worth near what the scammers are charging. Wait for the repress and stop supporting the scam-artists. No supply without demand. And if they don’t do a repress, too bad. Don’t pay these lazy flippers and force them to lower their prices. “A fool and his money are soon parted.” The vinyl market is in a silly bubble which will eventually pop.

If someone wants to know what high fidelity music is, bring this LP to him.
It brings the very best out of your equipment.
Absolute masterpiece: the quality of both live performance and print is outstanding

Just mint! But I’ve accidentally dropped my LP 1..track 1 is ruined, plus a little more damage…

Interested in buying the first LP only if someone has one available

This hobby really is a fucking joke. I’ll wait for a repress.

This is, very likely, the highest fidelity music I own. I picked up a new copy years ago, and I've used it as a benchmark to evaluate changes in my playback system since. Wonderful music, flawless pressing, and masterful mixing & engineering.

The prices for this pressing are very unfortunate for die hard fans trying to pick up their favorites. However, for anyone into the music, you'd surely be pleased with your purchase if you find a clean copy within your budget. This is what the hi-fi hobby is all about
