The long awaited return of Italian post hardcore punk band Lantern, once again at the cutting edge of the genre with five divergent, intimate stories, colliding in the same palace of memory from different timelines.
⠀
Eleven years after their foundation in Rimini, in the summer of 2021 Lantern regrouped once again in Villa Scorpioni, an old farmhouse in the hills of Montalbano, with the objective of developing a record with science fiction hues. Returning to Romagna, the land of their past, was the necessary premise to write a record about the future. While exploring together a present world made of mosquitoes, brushwood, olive trees, old farm machinery and scorpions, "M.U.S.A." took form: a record devoted to our near future, one where memories can be archived, safeguarded and capitalized.
