Reviews
- Musically a fantastic album, melodic and playful with some real depth considering the sparse instrumentation.
Unfortunately my copy was very noisy (regular repeating clicks and pops) even after a couple of washes and (lots) of repeated plays. There is a lot of space (especially in the top end!) and the vinyl noise really comes through and is a bit distracting. Would be interested to hear if anyone else had issues or if perhaps I was unlucky.
As I say amazing music, cheeky contender for my album of the year!! - Rare but true, a fucking goood french "jazz" LP. Solid from start to finish, haunted stuff. A sensibility between Arthur Russell and Henri Texier!
