- My white copy sounds excellent -- ordered a copy from Banquet Records with Makaya's signature. Far and away my favorite jazz release of the last few years.
- One of the best jazz releases of 2022. My copy sounds fantastic. No pops and clicks. Pressing and mixing is top notch.
- Have to confirm what everybody else mentioned - crackles ang pops across the whole record. Still listenable (heard worse mixes and worse pressings)
- Agree with the other comments. Beautiful music, but average mixing and some crackles and pops across the record. Shame
- Amazing music.. but.. Am I the only one who think it sounds horrendous? clicks and cracks all the way through.. muffled sound.. not a very pleasant listening experience.. Is it the pressing? I'm just thinking I'll simply avoid all coloured and fancy vinyl editions from now on.. isn't everything about the music anyway?
- Edited 5 months agoMy copy had constant clicks on the last track of side A. An ultrasonic cleaning had no effect. I sent it back, maybe the second copy will be better...
My second copy is a lot better...
