"LFO Remix" and "Mentok 1" are the two peas in the pod of pure magnificence. ...Bak 2 bak...

Great remix of "LFO" which was always going to be a tough one, but was a big track in its own right, but you also get the distorted beats and deep deep sub-bass of "Mentok 1", another huge tune, followed by "Quijard" which as well as those deep rolling beats has a slightly distorted piano hook, with soaring strings and further piano's dropping in and out to lift the track further, another popular track in its day. Fantastic 12" & one for the old school Techno / Bleep fans.

This remix of the seminal track LFO is a classic in it's own right. It was released just a few months after the original in 1990. Mentok 1 and Quijard would also do damage and feature in many sets at the time.

So chuffed I got this. I bought it cheap when it came out, I still listen to it, ahead of it's time this track.

Was just reading the comments about LFO original and thought it would be harsh without saying how good Mentok 1 is on this remix 12". Much sampled and full of production tricks miles ahead of its time, you just can't beat the gained tambourine dropping in over the main riff. Needless to say, the sub-bass is another winner.
