Reviews
- Edited 18 years agoBoth tracks on this record are fantastic, however it is Glow and Glare that really stands out for me. Used to dazzling effect on the awesome Mixing... compilation it is a classic head-nodder of a track.
Its a sneaky little tune that creeps up on you unawares starting off with a nice ploddy drumbeat and bassline. As it progresses more and more hooks are introduced building up to a fantastic breakdown about halfway through which always leaves me with an enormous grin on my face.
Its one of those records that you have to listen to all the way through to really get a feel for. There isnt one single hook that makes it, rather its the way this tune builds beautifully over time gently fading away towards the end...rush out and buy it immediately!
