Hearing the distortion near the end of Too Young Too Die. Not a deal breaker for me - the gatefold, cover art are great, discs are flat and quiet. For me the wider presentation and separation and detail here compared to the CD I’m used to makes this worthwhile. No other vinyl releases to compare to though, since the earlier releases have the extended versions I may have to seek those out now!

Came here to check it wasn't just me, but yeah, distortion on A2 / Too Young to Die, shame, otherwise the clear discs and album look lovely.

I was really looking forward to picking this one up at my local record store but the clipping at the end of Too Young to Die was so bad I thought there was something wrong with my player. The rest of the set sounds okay, though. At least the collector's value is there depending on who you ask, the sleeve art is great and the disks themselves look pretty cool.

I will echo the majority, nothing engaging on this release, very digital sound. Overpriced and will end up on the shelf and one day traded in for something better.

So far it seems all vinyl reissues are the same running time as the CD! The original vinyl from 1993 had a longer running time!
I had it and I sold it recently.

Fantastic Album, such a pleasure to listen to on vinyl, it’s a beautiful edition and I was pleasantly surprised to see and hear how much more enjoyable the whole experience is compared to just listening to it on digital streaming services

Artwork looks superb and vinyl is a nice shade, not the best press I’ve ever heard, but ok and as others mentioned the distortion on A2 is a real let down

The package is nice, vinyl itself wasn't completely clear with mine but rather a light beige / green-ish tinted transparent color (added a photo to the release) - super nice though, heavy and flat 👍
Overall sound is not great; discs are reasonably quiet with only a few pops and clicks, but it really does just sound like a digital file pressed in wax, nothing special, might as well listen to the CD, frankly..
And that distortion on A2 is a major bummer; such a shame they screwed that up (and still went ahead and sell it as a birthday edition for big bucks) ☹️

There seems to be some clipping happening on the vocals near the end of ‘too young to die’. Overall the sound is decent. This is one of those cases where the digital versions do it equal justice.

Disappointing to not see extended versions.
