I was totally sold on this one as soon as I read the promo release which described it as 'exploring all the sonic territory inbetween Sun Ra and Prince Jammy.' And I'm glad to say it totally delivers on that promise. Disrupt, Kiki Hitomi and bass clarinet maestro Volker Hemken take us an intriguing and exhilarating journey into the depths of the echo chamber that effortlessly joins the dots between free jazz, digi and dub. It's ace (and so is the artwork).
