- Just looking at the new KARL BROWN WXP02 release and found a 97-98 on Youtube mix which someone stated that that was the real stuff until the samba music ruined it which I think is a fair comment except this was 3-4 years earlier which IMO is closer to the real stuff
- I considered selling this for a while until I finally realised it is just a solid party record, with only the A1 being really too fruity (or should that be 'flutey'?) for repeat listens. 'Everybody...' samples the D'Pac classic to great effect over a huge bassline, while 'Mama's Groove' is a disco looper that retains a solid house kick (you can get a similar version of this track on the Farouche EP). 'Get N 2 A Groove' is the flat-out killer here: rolling bass/drums, bored-sounding vocals and creepy melodies - expect mayhem if you ever hear this one out, especially when it repeatedly drops in and out in the final section.
