Initial order went missing but Blood Records sent out a replacement well after selling out. Sleeve arrived scratched up, but not as bad as I was expecting based on some initial comments here. Would've been nice if it had've been shrinkwrapped.

My jacket is quite nice, but the vinyl itself is super noisy, with near constant static and pops (no obvious scuffs or scratches). The other version I have (the limited edition recycled black vinyl) is much cleaner sounding.

True, as the jacket is very sensitive to any scratch, my jacket was delivered with small but numerous surface scuffs. And, the master tape piece is quite simple. BUT, the vinyl plays very fine with minimal noise. In fact, I like the pressing.

As others have said, the packaging for this isn’t great. The mirror board sleeve will be scuffed (you’ll have to expect that even if you buy it from someone saying they have a “Mint” copy). It comes with a section of the master tape and that really is the gimmick you’re buying it for. Don’t expect any more from it. I was worried about how this might sound, but it sounds pretty good to me. Nice and clear, no surface noise.

EDIT: after a few listens, I’m very impressed with the sounds. Even on headphones, there’s very little surface noise and no noticeable sibilance.

This is so, so shoddy. Appallingly bad. Do not pay the prices flippers are charging on here - just get one of the excellent black or white standard Optimal pressings with the stunning gatefold artwork and lyric book.

This is a basic sleeve (which comes badly scuffed thanks to the appalling packaging) with a standard paper inner sleeve. My record is badly warped, *has biro on the grooves* and the (blank) label is coming off.

To top it off, the piece of master tape is just loose in the sleeve. No nicely presented envelope or anything like that.

            Awful. Avoid.

This really didn't sell as quick as i thought it would. I thought these would fly off the shelves due to how different from the standard release it is. Copies still for sale @
