- Everything about it is great. Amazing sound and pressing quality, great tracks, beautiful album cover.
- Edited 3 years agolove the way six of the tracks are 4mins 15secs
what's that about?!
sequencer overloaded after that?!
lush album >< - Awesome, just awesome...I agree with the previous commenter; this is miles ahead of the majority of contemporary electronic "artists" in almost every regard. No implied comparison to Vangelis here, but some of this predates a particular "Blade Runner-ish" vibe & sensibility by at least a good year or so. Cool record!
- One of the best Electronic album ever released. Bought back in the early 80s, still sounds more fresh than todays electronic artists.
- Edited 9 years agoThis is for sure one of the most underrated electronic albums I heard. And it's pretty unknown unfortunately, this deserves a lot more of recognition.
The melodies are catchy, the synths fat and the sound quality is years ahead of it's time (it's a Japanese album , you know)
"Unit" the most known track, but the best ones are on the B side, such as "Person to person" and "Clash"
If you love dark electronic music like myself, check it out If you haven't already, and skip the cheesy tracks such as Domino Dance. - Listening to this record for the first time. It's lovely! Reminds me a lot of early Detroit-stuff (Cybotron's "Enter" comes to mind.) I'm always glad to find out there are records out there that are this amazing I've never heard =)
