Essential release, really conveys the excitement and urge of this era. Hot samplers, generous overdubs, much diversity in sound treatment from one track to the other. Also Keynell (Rmxd By Ae) simply remains one of the most genuine demonstration of how Gescom, Ae and friends killed loop techno to make room for the artistic legacy we all know about.

what does the runout groove of other copies of this record read? mine has the original cover and what looks like the original record, but has a runout groove which reads MZE 2729/A on A side and MZE 2730/A on B side..

The stickers on my copy are placed on the wrong sides; the a-side sticker is on the b-side and vice versa. Of course with Skam, this could have been done on purpose!

A spotty record - like "That" - but without a doubt contains one of Booth and Brown's finest moments ever, rivaling Keynell and its accompanying remix 12" on Warp - the "Viral Rival" remix (a remix of a track on Anvil Vapre). Unbelievably stunningly beautiful and classic Autechre. A must have for this track alone.
