This couldn’t be any more ‘Plaid’ if it tried and that is absolutely fine by me. ‘Cwtchy’ in particular is totally vintage Plaid. Rapturous.

      This record is absolutely sublime.
Don't mind the short lenght (at least compared to previous records) or the conceptual origins of it.
It has 'classic Plaid' stamped all over it and still manages to be fresh, if not the beginning of a new direction for their music.
The artwork and design are surprisingly neat, most probably because they clearly manage to avoid the clichés that come with your usual 'sci-fi inspired [place object name here]' that generaly does not grant it to age well.
The outer plastic sleeve is quite original in that it is both part of the artwork - because it is printed - and a protection for the inner sleeves.
And if my memory serves me well, this is the first record they release in colored vinyl, so it is definitely worth grabing while they are out there.
