Reviews
- Edited 2 years agoThis pressing really rocks, makes my hands wet on the wheel listening to the clarity and the rich bass. In general, the manufacturers and producers of vinyl have improved the process over mass-produced 70's vinyls pressed under the pressures of oil-embargoes and emerging OPEC greed. Of course, LPs cost like $7 back then, not the mid to high 20s we see now during the "resurgence" - and with the domestic powers-that-be's mismanagement of current oil supply, we are doomed to see higher vinyl record costs - still this old favorite plays timelessly on my Rega P6 fronting Dynavector 10x5 cartridge + P75 pre. Not too many of these were issued, get it while you can.
- Edited 2 years agoMore crackle than I expected even after a wet clean.
11/18/21; turntable upgrade from Audio-Technica LP-60XBT to Fluance RT85 resolved the crackle issue. Go figure.🙄 - Sounds good to me too and I like the original UK tracklist "Big Tree, Blue Sea" was not one of my favorite songs. So buy while you can !
- Soundwise could have been better, so much so that a good quality UK or US second hand is clearly better. Regular MOV quality sleeve, track list is different than the original. Price says it all basically.
