Tolting is a document of the decade between the years of 2009-2019. We put these songs aside for various reasons.
Many of them didn't survive past the crude demo stage and if they did, they were ultimately shelved. To release this material is an exercise in vulnerability, as the versions of these songs are rough drafts.
However, because of the ever changing nature of Darto and the desire to highlight our love for the friends who have been involved in the project over the years, we decided it would only be natural to set these songs free.
We've documented almost everything we've written together. In fact, the first song we wrote is on this release, 'American River Guard Station'.
We love and miss everyone we've befriended through this project over the last decade.
Here's to the next decade.
