Reviews
- My copy plays perfectly with no pops, clicks or other unwanted artefacts. And the music is terrific. Lyrical, emotional jazz.
- Echoing the other comment here. Wonderful music. Not a great pressing job. ECM vinyl releases are hit or miss these days. Very unfortunate for such spacious, elegant acoustic jazz.
- Great music, not so great pressing, as usual these days. The mastering and the sound in itselves are fine, of course. But even ECM can‘t escape sloppy work at the pressing plants; arrives dirty from paper-debris out of the shrink. And after manual and ultrasonic cleaning, some annoying (and returning!) clicks and pops are still there to impair the listening experience. Shame. Pros: almost zero surface noise, relatively flat vinyl for a 180g disc (I really hope this „trend“ will end some day - nothing but troubles and superflous weight IMHO).
