- Edited one month agoI was at this performance (this location of Music Millenium was in NW Portland at the time and is no longer there). He had a concert in town later that evening and Strummer hung out for a few HOURS at the record store and signed albums and chatted with us. He passed out free tickets for his evening concert to people who didn’t have tickets at the time of his performance at the record store. Awesome experience, and an extremely cool guy.
- I am very confused why they did not choose to do Side 1 as the acoustic tracks, and side 2 as the actual album recordings of those tracks. Regardless sounds great!
- I've had a tape of this for years and glad it is out officially finally but why just leave it to the same music on both sides? there is an equally great soundboard recording going around of the 22 track concert that night at the Roseland which could have used a few numbers from it on the B-side of this and still allowed that evening show to have a double album. Still waiting for a proper live album, so much material out there.
- Quality is garbage. Side A has deep scratch/gouging and very dirty. Luckily side B is playable, otherwise I'd throw it in the trash!
- Is this really an LP? Seems like an EP to me. Anyhow, it sounds great and like Joe is playing in your room.
- The sound is great and it awesome to hear Joe singing so clearly and it is honestly a gift to play what sounds like new Joe Strummer. The only downside is the duplicate sides. It is absolutely ridiculous to have both sides the same. Why bother?
- Are both sides the same? It's odd they have different matrix numbers if so. Also odd they didn't just make it one sided.
