Mine is amazing. No warps, marks and debris what so where!! Very clean.

Warped and the surface looks as if somebody used butter on the stampers. Surface noise is low but so is the sound quality. Compressed, lack of punch. Obviously this album wasn’t mastered for vinyl at all.

Sounds like I got lucky but despite a large surface scratch on side 1 (that is thankfully inaudible) my copy plays pretty much flawlessly with no surface noise whatsoever. And that’s without a cleaning!

Music wise this is a killer record! This is the soundtrack to the silly but fun horror movie “Studio 666” released earlier in 2022 that features all the members of the Foo Fighters in a starting role. Sadly, Taylor Hawkins passed away not too long after it’s release which delayed the release of this album. I’m glad Dave finally unleashed this death metal gem on us. Even if death metal isn’t your cup of tea I think Dave’s going to surprise you!

I'm very happy with this purchase. It had factory debris pulling out of the sleeve. Also, it had surface scratches and touches, including having a weird, cloudy greyish color to it. After giving it a wash in the spin clean, the color corrected itself to the standard black, but I was a bit disappointed with it when opening. There is some surface noise and pops on quieter passages. It's mostly a loud record so it doesn't bother me too much. It's a good sounding record and slightly compressed. Nevertheless, it sounds pretty darn good. Better than other metal releases that can sound way too compressed. I like the inner sleeve as it has simple but informative liner notes and the lyrics. I'll be keeping my copy and hopefully those quieter passages will sound even cleaner after giving it a wash in an ultrasonic cleaner. The music itself is practically a Grohl solo record as he plays almost all instruments except keyboards and lead guitars on tracks 1-5. Music 4.5/5 stars. Pressing 4/5 stars.

Mine isn’t warped, but there is a little speck on the second track of second side where it makes it loop on a skip. I can see it and I can’t get it off! I got it brand new and sealed!?

Sounds really good, but this has to be the biggest warp on a brand new record I've ever encountered. It was hard to drop the needle down it's so bad. Sheesh!

Edit: Just played side 2 and the edge warp is hardly noticeable now, I don't think I've had a record edge warped on one side...hmmm. Maybe if I play Side 1 again it fixed itself...fingers crossed!
