Notes

1980 2nd pressing of 1979 LP: matrices with "S-7697" / "S-7698" added, single defined ring on labels is 3.2 cm in diameter.

This pressing is identical to the 1st pressing in terms of the label design (still with "Side +" / "Side -", not Side A / Side B), the same textured tip-on cover, and same lyrics printed inner sleeve.

Vinyl for this pressing is typically an opaque black, but some copies are a translucent dark purple when held up to bright light. Dark purple copies were likely in transition from the previous record order at Rainbow, and as such would only represent a small portion of the pressing.

Studio: Recording Associates.

Mastering (lacquer processing) company and pressing plant uncredited, identified by the matrix numbers.

Bought this when it first came out at Park Avenue Records in Portland, and it's still sealed and will NEVER be opened. The listing I see for the clear vinyl version (which this is) has a release date of 1987, but my copy was purchased way before that. Love these guys - My band, the Inputs, opened for them, something like their 2nd or 3rd show. They opened with "Baby Please Don't Go" and I became a fan for life!

Held up to the light, my vinyl is translucent purple.
