- This remix of Total Extacy is berserk, and a great reworking of the Formation original from 1992. I especially love the central stab breakdown, with the amusing arrangement of cheeky sounds, which kind of just tells you this is a track that wants to have fun.
I've owned 3 copies of this, and unfortunately on all of them, the sound quality deteriorates noticeably as the track progresses, so I can only assume this is a pressing fault. You can also hear this on the YouTube clip.
The second Slipmatt remix of Incredible Bass is also great. However, it adds little to his already excellent 1993 mix (confusingly released in 1995 on Vicious Vinyl), beyond updating the track to work better alongside the more kick-drum led tunes of 1996. - This release contains a different mix/arrangement of Oaysis - Incredible Bass (Slipmatt Awaited Remix) than the release of the same name that came out a year earlier. This one definitely sounds more 95-96 than the other one on VIC 003, which sounds more 93-94.
