Show All 16 Reviews- My pressing sounds fine to me, it's a great mix of songs. Only complaint is the glossy gatefold picks up fingerprints
- Low Volume? Not for the party?
No, this is the Artificial Intelligence series, look at the cover, read the spine, this wasn't made with the massive sweaty crowds of a Rave in mind "that gets anxious when the meters do not peak" (?) this is for the Dreamers at Home, going places in their minds...
What a great reissue, it makes perfect sense, and even an obsessive coloured vinyl fan like me am happy with the black vinyl. No complaints here at all (but I did wet clean it first). I never had this on vinyl, so very happy here - bought the T-shirt too, even if Green doesn't really suit my complexion 😅🤩😎)
So Warp - do not re-issue this in a few months on coloured vinyl, cause I would need to buy yet another copy :) - Lovely crystal clear pressing (after a wet clean). No issue at all with the 1LP reissue, matches the original and if you have nothing extra to add why make unnecessary changes? If you've got a decent enough system the low volume is not an issue at all.
- DJ's- heads up on this 2022 reissue- while sounding good and clean, my copy is so quiet, it is barely tickling the meters on the mixer. Even played with max gain, it doesn't compete where my meters typically peak while playing records out. Ok on the home system, but I don't think that Hawtin track would cut it on a party system
- Edited 2 months agoSounds really good and the packaging is nice. Personally I’m happy it’s on a single record given the length of the album. A double that included the excellent Speedy J track exclusive to the CD would have been fine though. One of my favourite things about the gatefold is the little interview bites with the different artists. The Diceman RDJ one is hilarious.
- This is now sold out on the warp site so grab it while you can because the price hikers will start hiking , as they do .
- Edited 3 months agoGreat press / Great Music - one of the best electronic compilations of our times since 92!
