'Orchestra Hall' is one of the most unfairly neglected masterpieces in Theo Parrish's large catalogue, perhaps for the reason of being buried deep in the later part of the series of 12-inches on this side project, which received little fanfare at the time of release. Rarely heard out, it's a dark, brooding, thumping drama, with daring and unusual application of synth strings saturated in reverb, as the title implies. The lovely organic vocal house 'Take Me' on the flip is more easily placed with the rest of Theo's work, recalling 'Chemistry' or any number of other lighter moments and immediately showing the producer's distinctive style. Amazing that this single is not better known, as it certainly deserves reevaluation.
