I even like this EP. There is good BassBoom, good collaboration with Coone, generally style of Psyko Punkz is nice. Good news for all fans of Psyko Punkz - their track "BassBoom" has been chosen by listeners of as "Tune of the Year 2010". And now, my opinion... I don't think BassBoom deserves to this title. You can dislike me and do whatever you want, but try to understand me...

Hardstyle is changing, we know. NuStyle is becoming more and more popular, it is said that real hardstyle died, because nuStyle conquered the world. I like nuStyle, but also I like tracks in old style like Donkey Rollers tracks.

Anyway, I think "Tune Of The Year" should be a track which you can recommend for example to your best friend who doesn't listen hardstyle and be sure that your friend will fancy this track or maybe say "I don't listen to this kind of music but it is interesting and neatly done, this track has got a soul" or something like that. I am trying to imagine that my friend is saying that while he is listening to BassBoom, but I can't, BassBoom isn't appropriate track for that.

In the #1 I saw more interesting track, track which better shows what is the most important element in hardstyle - mysterious, dark samples, some fear and breathtaking kicks. In the #1 I saw track made by Frontliner & B-Front - Magic which is also very high, near the podium - in the #4.

You can say, that I am a fan of Frontliner (look at my nick) and I just like "Magic" more than "BassBomm" and I can't accept that "BassBoom" is higher. It's true, but I like "BassBoom" too, I think it is really interesting and great done track, I wish guys from Psyko Punkz a lot of luck and I'm not hater.

Like I wrote before, I like Psyko Punkz, and I like BassBoom EP, but I can't understand why BassBoom is Tune Of The Year. Quality of hardstyle music is falling or tastes of people and listeners are becoming worse and worse? Or maybe I haven't just noticed that in 2010 simple tracks were in vogue? :)
