Show All 14 Reviews- cannot get enough of this one. love checking it on different rigs. the bass is magic.
heard this was made on Reason, anyone know if that true? - It's just mind boggling how they were able to make these tunes... I don't think the scene has even caught up to the level yet.
- OK, regardless of which you listen to, you're going to experience thrilling weight!
Education is techno-like (guess we could call it something like mix between dub techno and future garage), but absolutely crafted for soundsytem. Pulsing rhythm and a beautiful, joyful and eerie synth.
Horrid Henry... mad tunage! Such a skanker, but still very much dubstep.
This is probably one of the best releases on DMZ, hands down. both of the Mystikz are brilliant artists. They provide amazing work, yet it can also be felt they had fun making it! - Edited 8 years agoeducation is a killer riddum! The simple yet evolving lead reminds me of something out Blade Runner. Mala is the don!
- Edited 9 years agoIm clearly biased here, as i have only heard both tracks as digitals on my ipod, and only heard 'Horrid Henry' live. Mala played it at Cielo in NY last year. It TORE the dance. Completely annihilated the club. 'Horrid Henry' is just on another level, it's a tear-out track, high frequencies, almost like some Brostep stuff, however it's done with such class, such rawness, the POWER of it, just the best man, pure genius on Coki's part, and just like Coki's label, don't get it twisted (pun intended), this track has LOTS of sub bass, thundering subs. 'Education' on the other hand, it's so plain, the synth line is boring, there's no real vibe on it. Not the best Mala track in my opinion.
- This is back on sale at redeyerecords.co.uk for £5.49. Just a heads up before anyone pays £20+ for it on here!
