- Sounds like a really good pressing, DEAD quiet. I doubt you’ll get these sounding any better honestly, when you can find them, Meters 45’s are usually beat to hell. Great package and incredible music!
- Edited one year agoCan someone please tell us how they are certain Kevin Gray did the laquers on this? I think that would be info that Real Gone would use in their advertising. I can’t find that info anywhere and he usually has his initials in the runouts, and that is not the case here. Thanks.
Excellent pressing. Glad to finally have a copy. - This 3 LP album sounds amazing on my sh!tty turntable set up. Can only imagine how great it sounds on a high end set. Can't go wrong with this compilation. Probably some of the Meters' most funkiest jams. Somewhere in-between rock n roll and soul lies the Meters. Hiiiiiyah!!
- Essential release all around. Excellent mastering, packaging, and my press quality is great. This sounds really great - open soundstage and punchy as hell like these recordings should be.
