This is a beautiful package. A must-have if you're a Dylan fan. Lovely thick outer. Beautiful quiet pressing. Nice artwork. And blonde-coloured vinyl. Selling my other mono.

Another great pressing by VMP. This pressing is very bright (even more so on a warm system like mine [Denon Amp & Klipsch 600 II speakers]). So if you don't like a lot of treble or sensitive to treble like me, you'll need to turn the treble down on your amp. Outside of that, everything else is fantastic.

I don’t know man, this is just way to bright. The harmonica makes my ears bleed, it’s not an authentic sound at all., but to each there own

i've got original mono and stereo pressings and this is now my reference copy. so lively and such detailed sound. i can understand why some people might find this a bit fatiguing but i don't think it's a fault with the mix/mastering/pressing i think it's just that there's a lot of detail and transients. and of course the colored vinyl and packaging are tasty. another exceptional job by vmp.

This release proves that mono can indeed sound three dimensional.

Before commenting, I’ve listened to this front to back a few times. First off, theres no distortion with respect to sibilance, everything is clear when played on my system (levinson TT w/ortofon bronze cartridge). It’s hard to imagine any mono versions of this album sounding much better than this, if there are than so be it. But this one sounds good enough for me to mark this album as checked off for my vinyl collection.

My copy sounds vibrant, clear and loud. I have probably had a copy of this album in various formats at least three or four times in my life but never on vinyl, so it is nice to have it on the shelf. It will wait there until I have a need for wailing harmonica.

Sounds fantastic. I am not having any sibilance problems as I’ve heard others describe. I’m using a 2M blue cartridge.
