From Rhino Records website: "The 12" reissue on 180-gram HQ virgin vinyl presents the original stereo mixes, artwork and inner sleeves. The lacquers were cut at Bernie Grundman Mastering in Hollywood, CA under the direct supervision of original Doors producer/engineer Bruce Botnick and Electra Records founder Jac Holzman."

2-color burgundy & black varnish-print sleeve, with radius corners and embossed "Doors" text . The front has a cut-out window with clear acetate, on which the band photo is printed black half-tone. The disc is contained in a yellow radius corner liner, which provides a yellow background to the cover image when inserted into the sleeve. The back of the liner has a black-print 'crucifix' image.

I'm not a Doors aficianado but this pressing sounds great to me. Vinyl is clean and dynamic. Was fortunate to pick this up 35% off list from a Warner Music Canada sale. Buy with confidence.

Sounds pretty good, especially given its digital source. I don't own the AP version of this album to compare it to, but I do have the self-titled and Morrison Hotel from AP, and those have that live feeling to it, beefy analogue sound, which this one lacks. However, no defects on this pressing , which is more than I can say for the self-titled AP (MH is flawless).

What a great sounding record, i never heard this album sound better. Unless your willing to shell out a small fortune for the AP 45 rpm duel disk, this pressing is the best alternative. I would put this up against any digital format. On my open baffle speaker setup, this nuances really come through.

Super pressing, the sound is perfect and the accompaniments are well highlighted. As for the cover, very original.

Fantastic pressing, Love the transparent window on the cover (where you can use either colored side of the insert to display as a white or yellow background). Sound is terrific. Riders has never sounded so perfect.

Nice dynamics and separation, the packaging is really nice too.

After watching Mike from the In-Groove give this a less favourable review on his YouTube channel I was quite anxious as to how this would sound, but I can honestly say it's a wonderful pressing to my ears. I have no other copies to compare it with but I have no desire to purchase any others after listening to this. As another reviewer has said, the only disappointment is the paper sleeve which meant my copy had quite a few small fragments of paper stuck to the LP and caused a bit of surface noise between tracks. I'm sure after a proper spin clean I won't be able to hear any noise.

Excellent reissue. Packaging's a nice replica of the original and vinyl sounds great.
It's not a 10/10 just because it doesn't come inside a poly sleeve and therefore it has a bit of surface noise.

One of the best sounding vinyl I own. EU pressing. Good dynamics and separation.
