Regardless of the source, this is a pretty good deal. $20 for a decent entry copy of this album. The best part about this is that it’s quiet and wont easily suffer from IGD on Light My Fire like every pressing does (except the MFSL). Although, I’ve definitely heard better before. Some times Densmore’s cymbals are so sizzly that its hard to listen to, and Jim sounds like hes singing behind a blanket. The guitars and the sound stage are pretty nice though

My copy has bad sound distortion noisy muddled I have a Analog Production copy of Strange Days the difference is night and day so is the price. I'm going to look into getting a better pressing of this but not MoFi they suck

Side A is perfect, fantastic sound in living stereo...side B , "back door man" is very distorted, and the whole B side is very inferior to the other side in sound quality...disapointing....

I don't normally leave reviews but I'm surprised at some of the negative reviews. I picked this up new today and I think it sounds fantastic. No distortion / pops / clicks / etc. The stereo is good with no drops outs and Jim's voice is as imposing as ever. I think others might have been unlucky with their pressing. Highly recommended.

Great pressing, good sound and dynamics (DR12). Much better than my cd version.

My copy sounds awful. Hissing, distortion everywhere. Cleaned and made no difference.

Hissy distortion on my copy. Pretty bad. I sent it back to amazon.
