- Edited 6 months agoGiegling artists tend to bring a warm, dirty sound that's hard to articulate or describe, but you know it when you hear it. Its something about the bass. I'm not sure if they run the music through a specific machine or processor to achieve this effect, but it is definitely there. It sounds like a VG vinyl with paper marks but not scratches :) The very opposite of a clean bright computer sound. Anyhow, this album is proper sad day, or late night dirty gear. Take a listen on a rainy day, or at 3am, and I think you'll find yourself looping through the whole thing a few times.
- What an absolutely complete package this album is. Lawrence showing once again showing his A-game. Solid pressing also!
- Great release, Lawrence in top shape! Jacob's Ladder and Skyscraping definitely my favourite. This album has the same good flavour of the greatest old Giegling.
