Recorded very badly at 'The Slaughterhouse' demolition party in McCormack St. Newcastle, in early 1995... This live performance consisted of the most Newcastle acts on the BLOODY FIST roster, and is an accurate indication of what is going on in the sickening depths of the NCL underground, covering the whole gamut of true hardcore techno...
A12 & B1 are actually only 1 track, together they have 6:06 playing time.
The Slaughterhouse was due to be demolished by the local council, but the locals and violent random Novocastrians decided to do the council a favour and destroy the house themselves. The Bloody Fist crew were invited to give the house the proper send off it deserved. According to Mark N, this is his favourite gig. Playing at a venue where the venue itself is being slowly destroyed: it doesn't get anymore Hardcore than that. During the gig, while taking a backyard slash, Mark N almost got his head smashed in by flying kitchen cupboards!! The highlight of the night was everybody going nuts to the Syndicate boys dropping Born Fuckin' Killers. As the night went on, the community demolition became increasingly chaotic and dangerous, and when people started messing with the electricity and Newcastle police showed up, the Bloody Fist boys got out of The Slaughterhouse very quickly.
Despite the sound quality and charming tape swim, this cassette is an awesome overview of the entire Bloody Fist roster and their attempts at making underground music with Amigas. Full of ideas, enthusiasm and alcohol. Come back 1995, all is forgiven.
