Reviews
- I disagree with the previous review - it is mastered quieter but that actually makes for the dynamics and on my system this record sounds great. Also my copy wasn’t dirty but I clean new vinyl anyway so no issue if a record has debris. I also think the cover is fine and appreciate that they gave it texture. Yes this can be found used for cheap but if you want a copy that is without surface noise and a cover that isn’t beat up, this a good buy.
- Edited one year agoThis is total garbage. The volume is very low, the mastering isn't very dynamic, and it comes out of the sleeve very dirty and noisy. If you really want a copy of this amazing album on vinyl (and you should), go find a 1983 U.S. pressing. It sounds 10x better, and the cover is a lot nicer-- textured, vivid blue, with embossed silver lettering (this reissue has a milder texture, more muted blue, and no embossing). I see copies of the originals in used bins constantly.
