Time for a repress fam. Let’s do that vinyl again and make sure the quality control is on the up and up!
I can`t complain about the pressing quality, i have a copy which is really
beautiful and definitely much enjoyable
beautiful and definitely much enjoyable

If you expect a clean sounding record do not buy this. The pressing is really bad, had two copies both filled with pops and crackles, even after cleaning, almost unlistenable, especially side 1. Both looked mint, so maybe ask for an audio sample before paying €300 for it or buy the CD. Shame, I really do hope one day they repress this properly.

Such beautiful music, White Nile is a must in my life, every now and then to clean my soul.
However, I usually pop in the CD or play my FLAC because the vinyl is too noisy, a lot of pops and crackling. No way to clean it or get rid of it :( No comments on the sound quality here, we all agree the music is out of this world amazing. But to all the others who have this on vinyl, How is the sound?
Maybe it’s not worth spending over $150 to get a very noisy record?
The pressing in my opinion doesn’t do the justice to the music.
Or am I just the unlucky one who received a bad record?

I hope White Nile was one of the tracks played at Kelan Phil Cohran's funeral in his honour because this is sacred soul music for spiritual enlightenment. Tracks like these are very rare and only a few people can write and play them.

White Nile is simply one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've heard in my life, I cannot put it into words without sounding like some kind of hippy, but it almost feels like it transcends music and directly reflects the human soul. Just listen!
Edit: Almost 10 years on and I'm listening to this again for the first time in a while, I'm getting emotional, spine is tingling, hairs on the back of the neck standing up, almost want to cry, this music really moves me deeply. Phil Cohran, what a beautiful gift you gave to the world, RIP.
