Reviews
- No distortion and sibilance on my copy. Sounds like either copies are hit and miss in quality, or it's my turntable, which is high end, set up precisely and tracks well?
- Like many others, I'm hoping for a reissue sometime soon - whaddya say Superior Viaduct? Also interested if there's any knowledge here as to whether the noticeable distortion and sibilance are present on the original recording, or the results of a poor pressing? I have only ever had a digital copy and the defects are very much present. Could be a needle-drop of course. It may explain why there's not a queue to reissue this beauty
- Can someone please reissue this record so these jerkoffs can stop charging insanely ridiculous flipper scumbag prices for it?????
- I purchased this LP from Dusty Groove (Chicago) when it was released. Phil Cohran did an in-store performance to celebrate the event. My copy has no quality control issues and provides a jet black silent background with incredible instrument detail and deep soundstage. Phil Cohran was active around town and one could listen to him speak of his memories of working with Sonny Blount while playing his thumb piano.
- Time for a repress fam. Let’s do that vinyl again and make sure the quality control is on the up and up!
