I can't edit the info here, so I'll leave a comment because this is the only clear version of "This Is Why" on Discogs. I was confused that it looked like the Assai Obi edition but had the same IDs as the regular "Indie Edition" that I own.
This is not necessarily the Assai Obi edition. The original indie exclusive in clear vinyl has the same IDs as stated here. So either the Assai Obi edition has different IDs, or they just use the existing record and add their 'obi' strip to make it 'more exclusive.' (I wouldn't be surprised, though, as the whole Assai Obi thing seems overrated and just hype). Here are the IDs from my indie exclusive in clear vinyl (NOT the Obi edition):

If anyone here owns the real Obi edition, I would appreciate if you could confirm whether your record has the same IDs or not. - Super disappointed with this press -- the A side starts with a lot of static that persists; the clarity of the B side degrades with increasing crackles and pops as it progresses. Pretty crazy that I spent 429SEK for poor quality like this.
- I was a little worried based off of some of the reviews here but luckily my copy has no issues on either side!
- Sides A and B are fine here. The whole album sounds great, which is surprising for clear vinyl imho.
- Side A sounds great! Side B has pops, cracks, and feels a little less full bodied compared to side A. Was looking forward to listening to thick skull on my player and instead I hear aggressive pops and crackles :(
- Edited one year agoSide A fine. Side B run in groove has noticeable damage and the whole side has scratchy distortion even after cleaning. At £33 for a single non gatefold vinyl to churn out this quality is shocking. Way to go Atlantic….
- Echoing the other reviews, side B is super fuzzy and noisy! Side A sounds great though, and the music itself is excellent.
- Great album but I regret getting the clear vinyl version. Side B crackles and pops from start to finish, even after several rounds of cleaning. Stick to the solid coloured editions.
- My copy sounds great and punchy with minimal surface noise here and there. Overall I'm happy with mine.
