- Asterism is the "star" piece here, reminiscent of Penderecki and Ligeti- a complex piano piece of interstellar properties that culminates in a drone-based cacophony of brilliance. The three remaining pieces are "lighter" (if one can use such a term for these modern works!) but equally enjoyable. Good, rugged modern classical. Not for everyone though. It probably won't make a fan out of you if you didn't like this kind of approach in the first place.
